PASTOR WITH GUTS

Subject: A Pastor with Guts
 A Pastor with GUTS!
Thought you might enjoy this interesting
 prayer given in Kansas at
the opening session of their Senate. It seems
 prayer still upsets some
people.. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open
the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard:
Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask
your forgiveness and to seek your direction and
guidance. We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those
who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we
 have done.
We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed
 our values.
We have exploited the poor and called it
 the lottery.
We have rewarded laziness and called it
 welfare.
We have killed our unborn and called  it
 choice.
We have shot abortionists and called  it
 justifiable.
We have neglected to discipline our
children and called it building self esteem..
We have abused power and called it
 politics.
We have coveted our neighbor's possessions
 and called it ambition.
We have polluted the air with profanity and
pornography and called it freedom of expression.
We have ridiculed the time-honored values
of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.
Search  us, Oh, God, and know our hearts
today;  cleanse us from every sin and set us free.
 Amen!

The response was immediate. A number of
legislators walked out during the prayer in
protest. In 6 short weeks, Central Christian
Church,  where Rev. Wright is pastor, logged more than
5,000 phone calls with only 47 of those calls
responding negatively. The church is now receiving
international requests for copies of this prayer
from India , Africa and Korea .
Commentator Paul Harvey aired this prayer on
his radio program, 'The Rest of the Story,'and
received a larger response to this program than any
 other he has ever aired.

With the Lord's help, may this prayer sweep
over our nation and wholeheartedly become our
desire so that we again can be called 'one nation
 under God.'
If possible, please pass this prayer on to
your friends. 'If you don't stand for something,
 you  will fall for everything.'
Think about this: If you forward this
 prayer to everyone on your
e-mail list, in less than 30 days it would be
 heard by the world.
How many people in your address book will
not receive this prayer.....do you have the guts to pass it on?

OBAMACARE WILL APPLY THE RIGOROUS STANDARDS OF THE VA TO YOU !

OBAMACARE WILL APPLY THE RIGOROUS STANDARDS OF THE VA TO YOU !

WASHINGTON — Two psychiatric patients at a veterans facility in Brockton received no regular evaluations of their condition for years, part of a “troubling pattern of deficient patient care” that federal investigators say they have confirmed at veterans health care facilities nationwide.

One of the neglected patients at the Brockton Community Living Center who had been admitted for “significant and chronic mental health issues” was living in the 106-bed facility for eight years before he received his first psychiatric evaluation, investigators reported.

The other unidentified patient, although he was classified as 100 percent mentally disabled due to his military service, had only a single “psychiatric note” placed in his medical file between 2005 and 2013.

……. the agency found that the VA, after conducting its own investigations that corroborated the allegations, nevertheless insisted there was no impact on patient well-being.

…….

The government-run VA health care system is the largest integrated health care system in the country, treating more than six million patients each year.

The Office of Special Counsel found numerous cases across the country that suggest serious medical malpractice is not unusual.

For example, the agency corroborated a case in Alabama that found old notes were copied and classified as “current readings” in the files of more than 1,200 patients, “likely resulting in inaccurate patient health information being recorded.”

In Buffalo, medical staff incorrectly labeled sterile surgical instruments; in San Juan, investigators found that “nursing staff neglected elderly residents by failing to assist with essential daily activities, such as bathing, eating, and drinking.”

…..

The first patient arrived at the facility in 2003 “with significant and chronic mental health issues,” according to Lerner’s letter to Obama. “Yet, his first comprehensive psychiatric evaluation did not occur until 2011, more than eight years after he was admitted, when he was assessed by the whistle-blower. No medication assessments or modifications occurred until the 2011 consultation.”

The other patient, described as “a veteran with a 100 percent service-connected psychiatric condition,” was a resident of the facility from 2005 to 2013.

“In that time, he had only one psychiatric note written is his medical chart, in 2012, when he was first examined by the whistle-blower, more than seven years after he was admitted,” the agency found.

The response from the Boston VA indicates patients also may have been overmedicated. A spokeswoman said that officials have already taken steps to address the specific allegations about the Brockton facility, including instituting “regular psychiatric consultation services, staff education for all team members, use of alternatives to potent psychiatric medications whenever possible, and regular medication reviews.”

Only America?

            Only America?
After the Bolshevist Russian revolution on Nov. 7,8, 1917, our Ambassador Francis at the Embassy in Moscow said: …”you cant tell at what minute you will be killed. These crazy people are killing each other just like we swat flies at home…After living in a wild country like this for 18 months it makes you fell like there is only two decent places to live one is heaven and the other is America…”  2014 – is the last best home on earth still America?  Check out the news lately to form your final answer

[ SUBSTITUTE ANY POLITITIANS NAME]

[ SUBSTITUTE ANY POLITITIANS NAME]

The ad, shared first with The Hill, shows a young woman pushing a Landrieu look-a-like around a grocery store in a shopping cart. The politician greedily grabs items off the shelves, munching cookies and hoarding goods as the young woman admonishes, “I told you we can’t afford that!”
Washington politicians, like Sen. Mary Landrieu, have a spending problem. They’re wasting money they don’t have, and sticking our generation with the bill,” a narrator says in the ad.

When a cashier finally rings up all of the groceries, the sum comes out to $800,000 — an 18-year-old’s share of the national debt, per a Budget Committee analysis — and the Landrieu stand-in dismisses it: “She’s got it.”

Sounds pretty accurate.

4th leg

            4th leg

Do you know the tea party is the 4th leg of the chair upon which our beloved country rests?  Check out Richard Viguerie.   The Conservative Movement evolved over 50 years.  From a one legged stool of Republican, to a second leg of the Libertarian, to a third leg of Social Conservative and then to a rock solid fourth leg of the Tea Party.  The Conservative Movement emphasizes  3 conservative,  Constitutional principles of the tea party, but adds  (per se) us as the vital final support for taking over the politics and culture in America that now wobble, wobble, wobble  – thanks to liberal lunacy.  Putting politicians second to the people is another brilliant idea of Richard.  For ex., when or if   politicians attend a tea party event, they should not speak but LISTEN.

Our fearless leader

Is Iraq at war? Our fearless leader says the state of affairs there represents “vulnerability”.  Since when is war a “vulnerability”?  Since our fearless leader, a man of equivocation says so.  Isn’t it one or the other?  One of these two is not like the other!

From Nicolas Kristof, an Obama sycophant & drone

From Nicolas Kristof, an Obama sycophant & drone:

“Members of Congress, consultants, pollsters, lobbyists, and executives at think tanks, these Democrats are my Obama-whispers. They respect and admire Obama but believe that his presidency has been damaged by his shortcomings as a leader; his inattention to details of governing; his disengagement from the political process and from the public; his unwillingness to learn on the job; and his failure to surround himself with top-shelf advisers who are willing to challenge their boss as well as their own preconceived notions.”

NOTE THEY “RESPECT AND ADMIRE OBAMA” AND THEN LIST SHORT COMINGS WORTHY OF THE VILLAGE IDIOT. HAVE THEY NO SELF AWARENESS?

Two Gods, no Peace

            Two Gods, no Peace
The problem with the Pope’s prayer meeting with the Palestinian and Israeli leaders?  Two Gods  - Allah and Yahweh  -  never the twain shall meet.  We have just an extension of the Arab/Jew conflict

EMPEROR CLUELESS LOSES CLOTHES

EMPEROR CLUELESS LOSES CLOTHES

Summary of Sunday comments:

Note also how laughable it is to consider Barack Obama (or almost any other successful politician you care to name) “courageous” or to be “a leader.”  Politicians want office, power, and applause – period.  And most sell their souls, without the slightest hesitation, in order to increase their prospects of receiving such tacky and ego-bloating ‘rewards.’  So politicians are neither courageous nor leaders.  Instead, they are cowards who pander to crowds and then pretend that their typically idiotic orations to the crowds are evidence of their genius, humanity, and courage.  All in all, politicians are a loathsome and disgusting lot.

Don Boudreaux

But Obama has worked hard at only two things during his presidency: Image Control, and Not Working.

It’s amusing to see the sad little man behind the giant face of Oz.

The Obama administration is loaded with moral narcissists, including, obviously, the president himself — Valerie Jarrett, Susan Rice, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton etc.  The media and Hollywood are also clearly stuffed to the gills with moral narcissists.

“Having won two elections, I guess it’s Obama’s world now. We’re just living in it,” Jazz quips — but actually, between the disastrous Obamacare rollout, the IRS scandal, the V.A. scandal, and Vladimir Putin simultaneously blowing raspberries at Obama and devouring Crimean real estate, the past several weeks have demonstrated that this is what happens when world events overtake a man wholly unsuited to be president. Or as Podhoretz concludes his article, “You can only spin for so long before you start spinning yourself. Spin and spin and spin and soon you have a whirlwind to reap.”

D-Day

            D-Day

Let’s remember on this 70th anniversary of  D-Day,  another war – Vietnam – also deserving of  the commemoration of the suffering and sacrifice of our service men.

350 planes were shot down over No.Vietnam in 1966.  350! How many pilots were captured, tortured, suffered and/or died?  One captured U.S. soldier spent 540 days in solitary confinement in No. Vietnam. Many captives suffered exquisite torture.

Think about these 3 facts.  Remember.   Don’t forget

Bob Murphy reviews Thomas Piketty’s Capital in the Twenty-First Century

After all of the above, you might be tempted to excuse Piketty’s numerous, fatal errors because after all, his goal is to help poor people. Yet as I document elsewhere, the book is filled with shocking quotations making it perfectly clear that Piketty’s proposed taxes are not designed to raise revenue, but instead are designed to prevent people from creating large wealth and incomes in the first place.

I must admit, I learned a lot from reading Piketty’s book. Specifically, I learned how many self-styled progressives today are willing to sacrifice the standard of living of billions of poor people, in order to prevent a few people from becoming really rich.

Something to keep in mind: Every single piece of legislation is a restriction on someone’s or some businesses’ liberty – legislation cannot expand your rights, it can only restrict it.

Thus, yes, every law and regulation passed is a step toward “forc[ing] legal enterprises out of business” or to conform/do what the powers want done.

No conscience or consciousness

            No conscience or consciousness

Obama and his minions have no conscience; the American public has lost consciousness.  What is to be done? Amoral liberals are transforming America from Hyde to Jekyll; we in opposition must find ways to preserve Hyde.

The Skeptical Environmentalist

 The Skeptical Environmentalist:
By: Bjorn Lomborg’s
The constant repetition of the Litany [that modern market activity is destroying the environment] and the often heard environmental exaggerations has serious consequences.  It makes us scared and it makes us more likely to spend our resources and attention solving phantom problems while ignoring real and pressing (possibly non-environmental) issues.  This is why it is important to know the real state of the world.
And as Lomborg documents in great and careful detail throughout this volume (as well as in follow-up research), the state of the world – the condition of the environment and the health and well-being of humans – continues to improve wherever private property rights are at least reasonably secure and markets are at least reasonably free.
