TRUMP

Is this not unusual and true for only Donald Trump? After the 2nd long debate (?), only he showed the ability to NOT get riled up, not become unhinged and impassioned on a specific topic to the point of losing one’s temper or going out of control. This is an unusual behavior trait for a person, perhaps learned over time or innate, but is it not a desirable quality for a leader? No other candidate (including Democrat), it seems to me, is on such an even keel, even light-hearted,  except, perhaps, Ben Carson.  A match made for America

UNPARALLELED CONGERIES OF IMBECILITIES

UNPARALLELED CONGERIES OF IMBECILITIES
H.L. Mencken’s 1956 collection, Minority Report:

“Patriotism, though it is based upon the natural and indeed instinctive love of home, has been elevated in the modern world into an unparalleled congeries of imbecilities.  What it demands of the individual citizen, as a practical matter, is that he yield not only his judgment but also his property and even his life to whatever gang of scheming politicians happen to be in power.”

Done with Donald…

Done with Donald… Who wants to be my accountability partner ( meaningless phrase I heard recently from a liberal source)?  When Trump said about Carly Fiorina, ( I’m nearly accurate) : “Who would vote for that face?” I’m thinking, ‘Who would vote for that hairdo?  Well, buffoon, Donald, for sure,  insulting each and every opponent for his candidacy. Who needs this ‘character?’ Even a talented, articulate, attractive woman is fair game for this buffoon.  No way. Yes, Donald stirs the discontentment pot but  Americans who love gossip, sensationalism, newness and everything shallow, still cannot rise to any occasion of intellectual, heavy- weight cream.
